Stacey Weldon

Stacey Weldon began climbing at the Calgary Climbing Centre in 1996 at the age of 11 along with her three siblings, and embarked on a 20+ year competition career shortly after. Stacey has won multiple youth and open national championships, and competed on the IFSC world cup circuit for many years, frequently making semi-finals. Stacey has also coached many youth athletes at both a local and national level.

Farinaz Lari

Farinaz picked up kickboxing at the age of 18, while studying applied mathematics in university. She began competing shortly after learning kickboxing and in only a few years managed to become the first Iranian and Canadian woman ever to win the WAKO world kickboxing championship (Brazil, 2013). 



Kate Bell

Kate is a passionate rock climber and traveller who is deeply committed to building community and connection. Her devotion to gender equity is obvious through her dedication to empowering people through the space created by the sport of climbing. Kate makes events and marketing happen for The Hive Climbing & Fitness, and has been happily working in the amazing west coast climbing community for the last 6 years.

Andrew Funk has been rock climbing for a little over half his life. Growing up in the Canadian competition climbing community afforded him countless opportunities to meet and work with exceptional athletes, mentors, and coaches of all ages and experiences.

Tara Llanes

Tara Janelle Llanes started with BMX racing in 1988 at eleven years old. In 1993, Tara transitioned from BMX to MTB and focused on Downhill, Dual Slalom and Four Cross events. She turned pro in MTB in 1996. It was in 1999 when she won her first title. She got a gold medal in Dual Slalom downhill event of that year’s ESPN Winter Extreme Games (Winter “X” Games). 



Jackelien Barelds

Jackelien Barelds has an extensive background in the field of change management. From managing various teams at Radboud University Medical Center, one of Holland’s leading university hospitals to consulting, writing, training and coaching on the topic of change management, Jackelien prepared professionally for a very personal life change in 2017. 



Lotte Davis

Lotte Davis is the Co-Founder of AG Hair, the only manufacturer of professional hair care products in Canada, with distribution to over 20,000 salons and beauty stores internationally. Her hair care line, known for its integrity and meticulous selection of natural ingredients, has grown exponentially over the past 29 years and now employs over 100 people with projected sales of $35M this year.

Shayla Stonechild

As an Nehiyaw Iskwew from Muscowpetung First Nations,  Shayla Stonechild, has always been a catalyst towards Indigenous youth unlocking their full potential. By reclaiming their voices, bodies and spirit that have been silenced and stolen throughout history.

There is a shift happening in humanity right now and she believes the arts, meditation, movement and medicine is a part of that shift.



Andreane Lanthier Nadeau

Andreane Lanthier Nadeau, or ALN as we know her, is not new to the sport of mountain biking. This phenom is now 25 years-old, but she’s been crushing it on a bike since her teens where she put in many great results over the years on the Cross-Country circuit as a junior, U23, and elite. But, it was her love for trail riding and an obvious talent for riding technical terrain combined with carrying speed that brought her curiosity to enduro.

Magi Scallion

Magi Scallion has represented Canada internationally in both mountain running and cross country skiing, and now resides in beautiful Golden, BC, pursuing as many mountain adventures as she can between days in the office running her small business of organizing events and providing business coaching and strategic planning services.  Magi has lived in four Canadian provinces: Nova Scotia, Ontario, Alberta, BC, loves epic adventures - from road biking Calgary to Golden, to 40+ km trail runs in the mountains. Cares for a dog and a cat.

Lynn Hill

At the age of 58, Lynn Hill brings to us stories of wisdom from her decades of experience as a rock climber, as a woman changing the landscape of gender equality in adventure sport, and as a mother.


Being the first person on the planet to free climb The Nose in Yosemite, which has been considered one of the most momentous moments in climbing history, Lynn has obviously been pushing boundaries that we’ve all benefited from. 


Sanoa Olin

Sanoa Olin is still a teenager and has already been in the top 10 at the PanAm Games and has medals from numerous big title comps. She’s travelled the world to surf amazing waves to places like Hawaii, California, the Maldives, Peru, Portugal, and Japan with her sister.



Mathea Olin

First Canadian to win a PanAm Medal in the sport of surfing; future Olympian at the Tokyo Olympics; Ripcurl and Red Bull athlete and she's only just a teenager still. This talented and remarkable grounded and wise athlete is taking Canadian athletics by storm with her impressive mental game combined with her obvious physical skills. 

Featured in Red Bull films like Northern Tides, Mathea never ceases to amaze us.


Bonnie de Bruin

Bonnie de Bruijn has been rock climbing since the early 90s. The sport has taken her to crags all over the world. She was also a competitive climber for the better part of 20 years, a highlight of which was representing Canada at three World Cup bouldering events. She now dedicates her time to climbing outdoors.




Greig Gjerdalen

Greig Gjerdalen was born a nature lover.  Raised on the forest-covered mountains of the North Shore he has built a deep relationship with nature. He is a professor at Capilano University in North Vancouver where he teaches in the Schools of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Management.


He has earned a Masters of Resource and Environmental Management and Bachelor’s Degree in Geography. 



Ian Watson

I have spent most of this life outside in the elements and adventuring in the mountains. Through a love of ski mountaineering, climbing and skiing all over Coastal BC and around the world I have gained many lessons.


I have worked in eco-tourism and heavy industry; I run a business in commercial and industrial services; and work with people in Somatic Healing and human performance.



Nick Banks

Nick does not have parking karma and his cooking skills are a bit underrated. He communicates well with animals, he is a dedicated husband and father, pilot in training, wannabe surfer, lover of the outdoors, design, art, architecture and checklists.​

This former ski racer turned ocean sailor is a strong believer in following your passion no matter how crazy it may seem. Theresa achieved one of her biggest dreams this past summer when she was selected to sail across the Pacific Ocean aboard the famous yacht Maiden as part of The Maiden Factor on their round the world journey. 



Cecily Elmas

Cecily is a bold facilitator and a heart-centered leader. For the past 15 years, Cecily has been leading impactful personal and leadership development work that scales for teams and organizations. While working at lululemon and ivivva, she oversaw retail training and operations teams - helping them navigate the 2008 recession and then opening 86 locations in the US. 



Debora De Napoli

Debora De Napoli is an adventure documentary filmmaker, public speaker, yoga teacher, and advocate.


In 2013, Debora embarked on a mountain bike journey across the summits of the Canadian Rockies to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. She documented her journey, producing a film entitled Life Cycle Project, which premiered at the Banff International Mountain and Book Festival.

Lydia Ricard

Lydia is from Montreal, learned to surf at 21, which flipped her life upside down and led her to the path of a competitive longboarder and a surf coach. She is motivated to share with others surfers all she learned during the past few years and is absolutely in love with the community of Tofino, where she would not be where she is now without it.

Bryanna Bradley

Bryanna is a world-recognized surf photographer celebrating female form in the water. She's worked with clients ranging from Red Bull and Billabong all the way to families looking to capture memories. She's inspired a change in the surf community capturing more women in her home surf in Tofino, BC.

Tiffany Melius

Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, Tiffany Melius now lives and climbs in North Vancouver, Canada. From a young age, her passion for excellence and her willingness to put in hard work has manifested itself both professionally and in her sporting successes. 



Brent Martin

From an early age I decided to stray from the norm and do things my way. While I never got that coveted university degree, I did travel the world with my mountain bike and skiis, learning valuable life lessons along the way. I fought forest fires, built log cabins and won the Canadian Mountain Bike Championships in 1986.

Thara Vayali

Thara Vayali bridges science and philosophy, movement & intellect. She holds a BSc in Nutritional Sciences from UBC and A Masters in Education & Communications from RRU. Her thesis was a finalist for the Governor General's Gold Award for her capacity to translate complex methodology into compelling narrative.
